5. Quote Requests and Bookings
Requesting a Quote Quotes provided through our website or by our team are generated based on the information you supply, including cargo type, weight, dimensions, origin, destination, and required service level. All quotes are estimates and are subject to confirmation based on verification of cargo details, availability of carriers, and prevailing freight rates at the time of booking.
Quotes remain valid for the period stated in the quotation document. Where no validity period is stated, quotes are valid for 48 hours from the time of issue. Elite Logistics Agency reserves the right to revise or withdraw a quote at any time before a booking has been formally confirmed.
Confirming a Booking A booking is confirmed only when you have received written confirmation from Elite Logistics Agency, including a booking reference number. Verbal agreements, email enquiries, or quote requests alone do not constitute a confirmed booking.
By confirming a booking, you warrant that all information you have provided regarding the cargo — including its nature, weight, dimensions, value, and any special handling requirements — is accurate and complete. Providing inaccurate or misleading cargo information may result in additional charges, service delays, or cancellation of the booking without refund.
Changes to Bookings Requests to amend a confirmed booking must be submitted in writing as early as possible. While we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes, we cannot guarantee that amendments can be made once the booking has been processed and a carrier has been assigned. Additional charges may apply for late amendments.
6. Pricing, Payment, and Invoicing
Pricing All prices quoted by Elite Logistics Agency are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, customs fees, port charges, fuel surcharges, and any other government-imposed levies, unless explicitly stated otherwise in your quotation or invoice. These additional costs will be clearly communicated to you and are your responsibility as the client.
Prices may vary based on fluctuations in fuel costs, currency exchange rates, carrier availability, and seasonal demand. We reserve the right to apply surcharges or revise rates where extraordinary market conditions arise, provided we give you reasonable notice.
Payment Terms Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due in full prior to the commencement of any logistics service. For corporate clients with an established credit account, payment terms of 30 days from the date of invoice may apply, subject to prior written agreement.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in the suspension of ongoing services, the withholding of cargo or documentation, and the application of late payment interest at a rate of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law, whichever is lower.
Invoicing Invoices will be issued to the billing contact and email address provided at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that billing information is accurate and up to date. Any disputes regarding invoice amounts must be raised in writing within 14 days of the invoice date. Disputes raised after this period may not be considered.
